Knauf Earthwool
Earthwool glasswool insulation ceiling segments – this range is a new generation of softer, safer and more environmentally friendly glasswool insulation. Knauf Insulation’s advanced compression packaging reduces handling time and also the risk of damage in transit, storage and on-site.
Segments are the traditional insulation product for ceilings. Earthwool glasswool insulation is supplied in pre-cut rectangular sizes at 430mm width to suit the most common ceiling joist centre.
The ceiling segments are recommended for installation from either below ceiling joists (i.e. within the room) or from above ceiling joists (i.e. within the ceiling space).
Earthwool glasswool insulation segments can also be used in cathedral style roofs and raked ceilings. These are generally ‘skillion’ style roof construction where the ceiling line and roof line are parallel. The Earthwool glasswool insulation ceiling blanket range offers better choices for skillion design applications.
